With KidZone at Upper Valley Aquatic Center, your day takes on new possibilities. KidZone is a safe, enriching environment for children 6 months to 8 years of age. KidZone provides you a worry-free workout with your child just a few short steps away—socializing, learning, and laughing in a world of fun. It's your haven within
a haven.
KidZone operates on a drop-in basis. No
reservations are taken. An open spot cannot be
guaranteed and limited space is available. A wait list will be formed if the maximum number of children is met. The maximum ratio of staff to children is 1 to 6. The decision on the number of children accepted will be at the
discretion of the staff. Infants up to 12 months may
remain in KidZone for a maximum of 1 hour, with older children being able to stay for up to 2 hours. We ask new members and those who haven't used KidZone in two months to schedule an orientation prior to using KidZone. Parents must be participating in a UVAC program or
using the facilities while their children are in KidZone. We reserve the right not to admit a child for reasons of illness, behavioral difficulties, or the number and ages of children already using KidZone.

- A late fee of $5.00 for every 5 minutes will be charged immediately.
- Payment must be made at the Welcome Desk and made before your next visit.
AGE: KidZone is available for children between 6 months and 8 years of age.
TOILET TRAINED: Children using KidZone who are toilet trained must be able to use the bathroom unassisted.
KidZone staff will NOT assist children in using the
bathroom. Nor will KidZone staff change diapers. If a child needs a diaper changed the parent will be paged
to KidZone.
- KidZone participants over the age of 12 months may stay for a maximum of two hours. Babies under 12 months of age may stay for a maximum of one hour.
- Parent(s) must personally sign their child(ren) in and out of KidZone and must present a picture ID or Membership ID card when the child is dropped off. We will release a child to the parent pictured on the ID or membership ID card.
- A 10-child maximum will be enforced.
Drop-off will be based on availability.
- Only children are allowed in the KidZone room.
- Parents MUST remain at Upper Valley Aquatic Center while their child(ren) is in KidZone. We cannot allow a child to stay if their parent is not
using the facility.
- KidZone has a bathroom specifically designed for the child(ren). Children must be able to use the bathroom unassisted.
- Children must wear shoes at all times when in KidZone. Non-walking children must have socks on at all times.
- If applicable, parent will be responsible for
attaching the pacifier to his/her child's clothing so that it does not get lost or used by another child. Children can bring a beverage in a closed and spill-proof container if it is properly labeled with his/her name. Water will be available in KidZone. No personal food allowed.
- Any child(ren) with a contagious illness will not be admitted to KidZone. Upper Valley Aquatic Center staff reserves the right to refuse service for matters of health, hygiene, and behavior. Children must have been without fever for at least 24 hours prior to drop-off. If a parent is notified of difficulty with a child, the parent must take their child out of KidZone immediately upon request.
- Kicking, excessive crying, fighting, biting, being disrespectful of staff, or general misbehavior will not be tolerated. Parents will be notified and must respond immediately.
- Infraction of any of the above-stated rules may result in a suspension of KidZone privileges.
